Applied DNA (APDN) Shareholder Meeting To Be Rescheduled

Filed under: — SmallCapNetwork Editor @ 7:20 am

Just an FYI - Applied DNA (APDN) is going to reschedule their annual shareholder’s meeting. It was going to take place on September 16th in Stony Brook, New York. The company has postponed the event though, and will release a new meeting time and location in the near future.

The September 16th meeting was for shareholders on record as of July 15th. That record date, however, will not apply for the rescheduled meeting; a new date of record will also be announced soon.

  1. you had a sl @ .07. what’s your take on apdn now!

Editor’s response: They blew it. Conceptually the idea is great. The company just can’t get anything going on the sales front though. In retrospect, maybe the concept is a little too cutting edge. I don’t know - it just never got any interest.

Investors will give you a little time, but the company had a $15 million market cap and were stuck on sales of about $120K per quarter for the last three quarters. That’s just not going to do it.

  2. you had a sl @ .07 what’s you take on this dog. ever since they got their final payment for the cotton study and you thought it would bounce to .17, which I also thought, it’s been down down down. postponing the shareholders meeting was interesting as the shareholders were to vote on an option plan for mgt. @ .11

Editor’s response: See the other entry on the same topic. (Are you the same person?)
