Cannabis Science Inc. (CBIS.OB 0.07), an emerging cannabis-based pharmaceutical developer, confirmed this morning that the company was preparing for a pre-IND (investigational new drug) meeting with the FDA. This pre-IND work will establish non-clinical product safety (safety pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and toxicology) under FDA guidelines. The meeting with the FDA will provide guidance Cannabis Science Drugs regarding the manufacturing, non-clinical, and clinical development program for its INDs.

Chino Commercial Bancorp (CCBC.OB 12.50), a bank holding company for its principal subsidiary Chino Commercial Bank, N.A., today announced second quarter and half-year results. Quarterly net earnings of $73,529 were 49.8% below the $146,405 earned during Q2 of 2008. The per-share net earnings totaled up to $0.10 per diluted share, versus $0.19 per diluted share for the same quarter last year. Profits year-to-date were up 2.6% to $192,798 ($0.26 per diluted share) compared to net earnings of $187,876 (or $0.25 per diluted share) for the same point in time last year.

NuMobile, Inc. (NUBL.OB 0.02), which focuses on the developing a global mobile computing technology business this morning announced a new business strategy, and suggested a fair value target price per share of $0.10. The potential per-share value could reach as much as $0.50 if certain anticipated milestones are reached. The new strategy begins with an acquisition campaign. Sales contracts toward a $1 million first year revenue objective are already being signed.
