So What’s Not To Like? PKT, VELT, TIBX
Big Gains and Lots of Support from ‘the Faithful’ and New Buyers Push Shares Higher.
Here are three Small Cap stocks really worth a look at:
Procera Networks Inc (AMEX:PKT) has risen from $6 in early February to $12 earlier this month, a gain of 100% in three months, before it dropped to its current $11.18 range; still a gain of 86% in three months. The drop has come on the heels of its Q1 ’11 numbers. The GAPP net loss was 2 cents compared to 1.5 cents Y-O-Y and its Revenues were up 110% for the Qtr YOY. I think a little profit taking was in order and some folks took it. PKT actually had a very strong Q1 ’11. So will it rally back over $12? Yes and Procera Networks Inc could head for $14 in the near term (3 mos). Margins are up, two new European Tier 1 Service Providers are now in play, and the network traffic awareness, analysis, and control Company has reiterated its annual revenue guidance for 2011 of $30 million, representing growth of 50% YOY.
Wow the Run Up at Tibco Software Inc (NASDAQ:TIBX) certainly has some strength and support behind it. TIBX was trading in the $18 range in mid October and is currently trading in the $29.20 range, a gain of 62.22% in seven months on a classic, textbook ascent. Tibco Software Inc has positive, double digit sales and EPS projections quarter over quarter. I think the run ‘is on’ and the stock could top $32 in the near term. The Company provides middleware and infrastructure software to a wide range of industries. Notably, the Defense Intelligence Agency has just selected the TIBCO Spotfire Analytics Platform for the Department of Defense Intelligence Information System.
And the one month April surge of Velti Plc (NASDAQ:VELT) is really worth a serious look over. VELT only recently began trading on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. Velti Plc provides mobile marketing and advertising solutions for mobile operators, ad agencies, brands, and media groups. The Company was trading at $11 at the beginning of April and is currently trading in the $18.02 range, a gain of 63.81% in six weeks. The stock is very liquid and has the strength and support to hold this level. I believe the stock will test the $20 threshold in the near term.
