Proteonomix, Inc. is a biotechnology company engaged in the discovery and development of stem cell therapeutic and cosmeceutical products. The Company is developing pre clinical-stage therapeutic agents and treatments for diabetes, heart and lung diseases. Its discoveries involve non embryonic stem cell treatments. It primarily focused on developing therapies and products based upon the use of human stem cells and their derivatives with an initial focus on cardiac and diabetes diseases. It developed technologies embodied in patent applications, including a medium and scaffolding for the growth of stem cells, a growth platform for stem cells, a cord blood banking cryopreservation bag and cosmetic products utilizing a secreted matrix derived from stem cells. In February 2010, the Company announced the formation of a wholly owned subsidiary, StromaCel, Inc. In August 2010, the Company formed a subsidiary, X Gen Medical LLC.
