NYMX - Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation

Nymox Pharmaceutical Corporation (Nymox) is a biopharmaceutical company. As of December 31, 2009, the Company has three products on the market, and a research and development (R&D) pipeline of drug and diagnostic products in development. The Company markets the AlzheimAlert test as an aid to the diagnosis of Alzheimers disease. Nymox also markets NicAlert and TobacAlert, its two products, which determine a persons level of exposure to tobacco products. The Company has under development therapeutic agents for the treatment of Alzheimers disease, for the treatment of enlarged prostate (BPH) and of certain antibiotic-resistant infections, as well as antibacterial agents for E. coli contamination of food and drink products. It also has the rights to a United States patent for the use of statin drugs for the treatment or prevention of Alzheimers disease.
