FuelCell Energy, Inc. (FuelCell Energy) is engaged in the development and production of stationary fuel cells for commercial, industrial, government and utility customers. The Company focuses to provide generation baseload power. Its Direct FuelCell (DFC) power plants are generating power at over 50 locations worldwide. The Companys direct fuel cell-energy recovery generation (DFC-ERG) system, which is developed along with Enbridge Inc., is designed for natural gas pressure letdown stations. FuelCell Energys carbonate DFC power plants produce electricity directly from available hydrocarbon fuels, such as natural gas and biogas. Its fuel cells operate on a range of hydrocarbon fuels, including natural gas, renewable biogas, propane, coal gas, coal mine methane and methanol. The Companys DFC Power Plant products include the 300 kilowatt DFC300, the 1.4 megawatt DFC1500 and the 2.8 megawatt DFC3000.
